Roksana Węgiel to Represent Poland at Junior Eurovision!

It was unsure whether Poland would choose to use a national selection or keep the process internal for this year’s Junior Eurovision, but we now know who will be representing Poland.

An internal selection was used and it was announced by TVP today that Roksana Węgiel will represent Poland. 13 year old Roksana was the winner of the first edition of The Voice Kids Poland and despite being young, shows great promise. Judges of the show commented on her mature voice which was discovered in an unusual setting!

Roskana also has a keen interest in acrobatics, judo and dancing, and it was at a judo camp that Roksana sang at a karaoke competition where she received a lot of praise for her voice. Since then, she kept performing and working on her vocals.

Roksana, who often goes by the name Roxie has commented on her upcoming gig, saying,

‘Winning in The Voice Kids has been a great honor and a dream come true for me, but the opportunity to represent our country at Eurovision Junior is really an honor. It is worth dreaming and striving for your goals. Thank you for trusting me’

The song Roksana will perform is yet to be released, so stay tuned for more news from Poland!
